The White Boxer, heritage of the breed

The White Boxer, is not a myth or a legend, is real and exists as exist his brothers Fulvi and Tigrati. Its history is linked to the birth of this magnificent race and this is testified by the two historical fattrici, that every breeder knows: Meta vd Passage and Blanka v. Argentor.  Often little information and incorrect information has been made about the white boxer, it is said that it is the bearer of genetics and not conform to the standard. In this regard we must make some details, first of all the white boxer is not albino and is a healthy dog, the diseases that can occur, are not related to the color of the mantle, as can happen in other breeds (white Dalmata), because the same pathologies, tied to anca or heart, can occur in the same percentage both in   Fleulvi that tigrates. As for the standard, we must emphasize, as this must be respected in the expositive context, so it is not allowed in the ring a boxer that has more than a third of white, but are excluded also the dogs, but also those who are excluded, but are the monoid, but also those who are not.

The serious wrong that the white boxer in Italy has suffered was the non-recognition of breed dog through the pedigree. In fact after a long battle, won in 2005, l.Italian Boxer Club managed to get this genealogical certificate to the white boxer. Unfortunately, on the pedigree, still today is put a stamp with the words: forbidden reproduction. This in our opinion is very incorrect, since in this way you go to lose a very important heritage for the breed. The boxer is not only a color, but is character and morphology as well as aspects related to very important health. Therefore we can have a white boxer with excellent health, extremely suitable for work and well built from a morphological point of view, therefore excluding a subject with these characteristics, even if white, you lose an important heritage. In addition we know many private people, who in Italy and abroad have made couplings between white and colored boxer, and the result is the birth of colored puppies.

As a result, we ask ourselves why, the same stamp is not also placed on the pedigree of monorchid boxers or with important hereditary pathologies, or out of standard with regard to the measurements and proportions. In this regard we want to emphasize, as in Germany, the parent company of the boxer, the rules are quite different. The pedigree, is not released by the agency of the cynophilia (VHR in Germany and ENCI in Italy), but by the Club of breed, which, does not exceed the ZTP, morpho-caratteraterial test, indispensable to put a dog in reproduction, to all those subjects who do not have medical examinations in order, too high or too low or monorchids. For us, therefore, the boxer is in its three color variants: Tigrate, Fulvo and White.
