The circle is closing!

Finally, after years of unnecessary discrimination for the white and cut Boxers, we can say that the last battle is won!

We are receiving comforting news from Boxer Klub in Germany, where the terms for the admission of white and cut colours are being discussed: no longer considered an unwanted defect, these colors will be inserted as a variety of mantle like the tiger and the Falvo. As a testimony of this, the white boxers are open to the Jahressieger BCS (Boxer Club Switzerland), which will be held in Luzern next September.

This is equivalent to a total victory for those who have always fought for this cause, believing that white is not a tragic mistake of nature, but an interesting part of the history of race.

For the benefit of those who have not had the opportunity to follow us since the first few lines of this adventure, we report in broad lines the stages that see the protagonists of the "unknown" colors of the Boxer and a breeder: Stefano Bartolini. It is precisely because of its tenacity, that in Italy it was requested and obtained that puppies from the mantle, born from parents boxers with pedigree, were considered as colorful brothers and therefore entered in the register of origins: ROI (ex LOI) and provided with regular document that certifies their genealogy. This is achieved after years of observation and research.

How did the white and cut-out boxers appear as theanguish in the history of the breed, often praised as carriers of typical characters by the greatest selectors (such as Stockmann) and then in the following years disappeared completely? So we look for answers from all possible sources: texts translated from different languages, testimonies of veterinarians and geneticists, breeders, clubs of breed, simple enthusiasts and everything leads to a conclusion: white, in breeding, existed, exists and will exist in percentage anything but negligible.

With these tests, the process begins to make sure that there is a minimum interest from the Cinophilia Board, but - unfortunately - dullness reigns supreme and, to make it clear that white is not a boxer fallen into flour, it takes 2 years of patience, constancy and legal Fr. So in 2005 a 26th white boxer "Italy of Casa Bartolini" receives the first Italian pedigree (in other states the whites had already).

Of course, it would be a joy if the workers in the "palace" had not thought of taking on skills, which they did not have, putting a stamp in the document to prevent reproduction to dogs, even if of race, guilty only of having the color "not admitted by the standard."

Of course, injustices are a stimulus to us and, since it is an injustice that colour is the only serious defect worthy of consideration, it is decided that the battle is not over. In parallel with the request to eliminate that harmful stamp, the recognition of the term "peace" as the 4th variety of the boxer cape is carried out.
